WORLD-WIDE STANDARD STATION SEISMIC MEASUREMENTS. PROJECT 173-7, AARDVARK, MAY 12, 1962.
Abstract
Seismic data from nuclear test explosions at the Nevada Test Site (NTS) is reported. The data used are recorded by the Standard Stations and certain supplementary stations having instruments with response characteristics similar to those of the Standard Station instruments. These, and other data, will be used by VELA-UNIFORM participants for studies directed toward the development of methods to distinguish between explosion and earthquake seismic sources. (Author)
