MAGNETICALLY CONTROLLED GAS DUPLEXER,

Abstract

Experimental studies have shown that magnetic fields do not produce any significant reduction in discharge arc loss in gas discharge switches for pressures in the millimeter range. The recovery time problem in a magnetic field has been analyzed in terms of microwave transmission through a magnetized plasma slab. Plotted computer results are compared with experimental data.
