EFFECT OF A BARE EXPLOSIVE AGAINST A METAL PLATE,

Abstract

A semi-rational formula is developed for measuring the effects of a bare explosive against a metal plate. A comparison with an experiment shows good agreement. The purpose of this report is to derive a simple formula to predict the relative effect of a given explosive against beams of different dimensions and different materials. (Author)
