SIMULATOR ASSESSMENTS OF TAKE-OFF AND LANDING,

Abstract

The value of flight simulators in assessing the take-off and landing characteristics of aircraft in the design stage is discussed. Problems associated with such simulation fall into two classes, computation and presentation. Possible solutions to some of these problems are presented, based on experience in a fixed-base simulator. (Author)
