PORTABLE AIRCRAFT CONDITION EVALUATOR RECORDER

Abstract

Study and design is reported on an automatic electronic checkout system to evaluate and record aircraft component condition for Army aircraft. The system will provide a printed and punched tape record. Selected test areas of the aircraft are monitored during static and dynamic conditions. The system sensors are integral with the aircraft while the evaluation and recording portion is ground support equipment. This system is compatible with the Automatic Light Aircraft Readiness Monitor (ALARM) system.
