INTERLAMINAR SHEAR OF FILAMENT-WOUND REINFORCED PLASTICS.

Abstract

Effort was directed to improve interlaminar shear strength of filament-wound reinforced plastic structures. Two approaches to the problem are being studied. Several resin systems which are not normally utilized in filament winding are being evaluated, and new concepts of fiber orientation are being investigated. A Latin Square arrangement is being utilized to evaluate the various parameters. (Author)
