Abstract

Several illustrative examples, with accompanying numerical solutions are provided as a didactic means of illustrating how the ''General Method'', Volume I (AD-428 027), is applied to various landing impact problems. Symmetrical landing of a conventional aircraft, asymmetrical landing of an advanced vehicle, spike penetration landing, cantilevered, articulated and semi-articulated gears are considered. (Author)
