ELECTROCHEMISTRY OF FUEL CELL ELECTRODES. ACTIVITY COEFFICIENTS OF LIQUID INDIUM-MERCURY AMALGAMS AT 25 C,

Abstract

Activity coefficients for indium and mercury in their liquid amalgams at 25 C have been calculated from measurements of EMF in a cell without liquid junctions. The excess entropy of the mixtures was found to be nearly zero. The standard potential of the In(3+)-In couple was found to be -335.0 mv at 25 C. (Author)
