CIRCUITS WITH DIRECT COUPLING (SKHEMY S NEPOSREDSTVENNYMI SVYAZYAMI),

Abstract

All transistor computer circuit applications can be divided into two groups: saturated circuits and circuits with limited saturation. In many cases, the first type is more promising and requires fewer components; the second type operates faster. With regard to direct coupled circuits operated under saturated conditions, all of the requirements of transistors operating in saturation circuits with R and RC coupling circuits, are applicable to the former circuits also. In addition, new requirements inherent only to this type of circuit are in effect. In this text all these requirements are considered briefly, and the results of the measurements of some parameters of locally produced transistors P 403 + P 413 and the testing of these transistors in the simplest logical circuits are presented.
