MILDATA STUDY. A STUDY OF ADVANCED TECHNIQUES IN ALL ASPECTS OF DATA PROCESSING APPLICABLE TO CCIS IN THE TIME FRAME 1975-1985.
Abstract
The investigation comprises 14 specific sub-tasks described in Appendix A. During the first quarter Tasks 1, 2 and 3 were either fully or partially completed. These efforts included analysis of the specific application areas and the initiation of the study and extrapolation of the state-of-theart of the computer characteristics, hardware and software areas. These efforts have progressed according to schedule. The main effort, the investigation of optimal approaches to the design of the systems organization of a highly modular system, which will be partially based upon the results of the previous tasks, is about to be initiated.
