AIDS FOR IMPROVING BOMARC TACTICAL EVALUATIONS,

Abstract

Research is presented which provides for the application of statistical techniques to the problem of estimating the percent of operable missiles in a squadron of any size via sampling. Data presented are representative of those techniques which should be employed in estimating a BOMARC squadron's operational capability where such estimates are required to contain a high degree of accuracy. A complete family of sampling plans incorporating those techniques are, or could be made, readily available for any squadron size, sample size and degree of accuracy required. (Author)
