THE LANDING OF ADVANCED FLIGHT VEHICLES,

Abstract

The results are summarized of a study of some of the problems associated with the landing of manned advanced flight vehicles. This study was conducted by the Lockheed-California Company under the direction of the Flight Dynamics Laboratory of the Aeronautical Systems Division, UnitedStates Air Force. Means of defining satisfactory configurations developed during the investigation are discussed. (Author)
