TRANSPORTATION-VIBRATION TEST OF PERSHING MISSILE SYSTEM TACTICAL SHIPPING AND STORAGE CONTAINERS - PHASE II.

Abstract

Tactical first- and second-stage shipping and storage containers for the PERSHING Missile System, with dummy loads, were subjected to the maximum vibration conditions which they may experience during truck transportation. The test was performed by transporting the containers, truck mounted, over a rough road course while varying the speed to obtain desired G levels. (Author)
