SURVEY OF THE CURRENT KNOWLEDGE OF THE DEFORMATION CHARACTERISTICS OF BERYLLIUM AND THE REFRACTORY METALS.

Abstract

Priorities were assigned for treating eight topics to be included in the survey of current knowledge of the deformation characteristics of beryllium and the refractory metals. Writing began on three of the topics--extrusion, preferred orientations, and high-strain-rate deformation. The latter two drafts are included. (Author)
