Constants for the Gaussian Quadrature Formula for Values of N from Two to Thirty.

Abstract

The 2N constants for the Nth order Gaussian quadrature formula for N equal to any integer from two to thirty are presented to an accuracy of twenty-eight significant digits. The methods used for computing the constants and estimates of their probable error are discussed. The Gaussian quadrature formula is derived in detail in Appendix A. The derivation has been guided by tutorial considerations rather than mathematical rigor. (Author)
