STUDY OF EFFECT OF HIGH-INTENSITY PULSED NUCLEAR RADIATION ON ELECTRONIC PARTS AND MATERIALS (SCORRE).

Abstract

The results of a Sandia Pulsed Reactor Facility experiment on mica capacitors are presented in a form that is directly useable by the design engineers. An experiment performed to determine if the capacitance dependence on temperature could tend to cause the observed radiation in duced currents is described. In addition, the techniques used to fabricate the experimental capacitors are also discussed. (Author)
