SPECIAL MODIFICATIONS OF THE SILVER-SILVER CHLORIDE SPONGE ELECTRODE FOR SKIN RECORDING,

Abstract

Two modifications of the silver-silver chloride sponge electrode designed for ready attachment in a wide range of placements are described. The first modification is for permanent use in both the experimental and clinical situations. The second is for more specialized situations where re-use is not required. The core of the modified electrode is identical with that of the previously developed GSR type. so that they are also suitable for recording potential, resistance or impedance. (Author)
