EMPLOYMENT OF ASYMPTOTIC METHODS IN SOLVING PROBLEMS ABOUT THE MOVEMENT OF AN ASTATIC GYROSCOPE IN CARDAN SUSPENSION,

Abstract

With the asymptotic method is solved a system of two nonlinear differential equations of the second order for the case, when the characteristic determinant of the imperturbed system has, in addition to roots = iw, two zero roots with linear elementary denominators. It is assumed that the right parts of equations of perturbed system appear to be periodically functions of time. The investigation is conducted for a nonresonance case. In role of example is discussed the problem about the movement of an astatic gyroscope in Cardan suspension with a dynamically not equilibrated rotor in the presence of small moment of dry and viscous friction on the axes of the suspension.
