MASS SPECTROMETER STUDY OF METAL CONTAINING FLAMES.

Abstract

The aerodynamic molecular beam sampling system has been applied to the quantitative study of stableproduct equilibria in CH4-02-argon flames. Temperature measurements by sodium line reversal arealso discussed. A simple modulated beam detection system for the Bendix mass spectrometer has been constructed and preliminary tests are encouraging. (Author)
