Abstract

Th ion pump vacuum exhaust equipment has been placed in operation. Tubes have been made for comparison of this type of vacuum system and the present oil-diffusion type vacuum system. The results of life tests on tubes of the lot from which the second engineering sample was drawn are presented. (Author)
