ELEVATIONS ON THE ICE SHEET OF SOUTHERN GREENLAND,

Abstract

Elevations were determined for over 200 points on the ice sheet of southern Greenland using leapfrog altimeter techniques. These methods were found to give reliable elevations over extended distances. Elevations were consis tently lower, by several hundred feet, than those indicated on currently available charts.
