CODING AND USE OF INFORMATION IN PROBLEM SOLVING.

Abstract

Work completed in an investigation of informationprocessing aspects of problem solving and of other forms of complex performance is described. These aspects included the encoding, processing, and storage of information. Work is described on the areas of problem solving, encoding of perceptual information, and learning and storage of verbal materials. (Author)
