MULTIPORT VOLTAGE TRANSFER FUNCTION,

Abstract

After a review of existing work on the transfer function of two-port networks, two new methods of realization for these transfer functions are developed. These methods are based on splitting the denominator by means of even part and BottDuffin splitting techniques. The latter split is applicable to cases with or without imaginary axis poles. Next the multiport voltage transfer function matrix is introduced and the different structures of multiport networks are described. The necessary and sufficient conditions for realizability of the transformerless multiport network transfer functions for the different structures are stated and proved. (Author)
