ERROR ANALYSIS OF A DIGITAL MONOPULSE RADAR,

Abstract

An analysis is presented of the errors introduced into a monopulse radar system by employment of a digital matched filter containing two high speed analog-to-digital converters. The errors predicted by a computer simulation of the system are discussed. The analysis and simulation indicates that a digital monopulse would compare very favorably in performance with an analog monopulse system.
