ON THE ORIENTATION MECHANISM OF CRYSTALLINE POLYMERS,

Abstract

In this paper there is a detailed account of the orientation of individual crystal axes. The effect of chain unfolding on crystal rotation within the spherultie is considered. The model successfully accounts for the variation of birefringence and crystal orientation functions with elongation which is found experimentally. (Author)
