BIREFRINGENCE CORRECTION FACTORS FOR THE SCATTERING OF LIGHT BY AN ANISOTROPIC SAMPLE,

Abstract

Light scattering data are reported for polymer film samples which have been rendered anisotropic by stretching. The amount of intensity modification depended upon the thickness and birefringence of the sample. A correction for this effect was applied in order to obtain true scattering data from measured intensities. (Author, modified-PL).
