OPERATIONAL TEST AND EVALUATION, C-130 RAMP UNLOADING KIT.

Abstract

The A/B32H-4 C-130 Ramp Kit provides a means for discharging palletized cargo from the rear of the C-130 aircraft when terminal facility type equipment is not available. Modifications are required to improve the reliability of the kit as presently designed. The ramp kit, with five pans, is too heavy and cumbersome for two individuals to handle and is considered too sophisticated for a tactical requirement. A bridging device permitting the unloading of palletized cargo onto the ground is considered sufficient. (Author)
