Abstract

Progress is reported in the following areas of endeavors: (1) Construction of both valumetric and gravimetric adsorption apparatus; (2) A literature survey of activated carbon fibers and related activated polymer carbons; and (3) The application of chemical methods for the characterization of surface oxygen complexes on activated carbon.
