RAIN REPELLENTS, DEVELOPMENT OF.
Abstract
A series of dilutions of the 394 fluid with Freon TF was prepared. A mixture of 5% 394 was found to produce the most satisfactory results. The 5% mixture spread rapidly over a wide area and did not build up at the fringe area. It could be applied to a dry windshield or to a wet one on which rain was no longer hitting. (Author)
