Abstract

It was concluded from this study that the Armytype closure on the aluminum 5-gallon water can is more acceptable in performance, durability and reliability under normal use conditions than the closure on the standard Type I, steel, 5-gallon water can. The aluminum 5-gallon water can eval uated in this test is more suitable for military use than the standard Type I, steel, 5-gallon water can. (Author)
