CW SOLID STATE LASERS (NEW FREQUENCIES).

Abstract

In the early phases of the LASER amplifier program emphasis will be placed on studying devices which amplify giant pulses. The current report covers progress in relating gain measurements in a LASER amplifier to gain coefficients. In the materials program studies have been narrowed down to the system of Q2O3 doped with Eu(+3). (Author)
