Saturable Filter Investigation

Abstract

The results are presented of the search for suitable saturable filter materials and the theoretical investigation of the saturation effect. The observation of saturation effects in uranyl glass filters is discussed. The effect of a saturable filter in the laser cavity is demonstrated with an experimental Q-switched laser.
