A DESCRIPTION OF THE USE OF SEMICONDUCTOR INTEGRATED CIRCUITS FOR ARTILLERY TIMERS AND OTHER ORDNANCE MATERIAL,

Abstract

The recent development of the Semiconductor Integrated Circuit as a possible milestone in the evolution of Timers and Programmers for Ordnance Materials is recognized. A prototype of a Digital Integrated Circuit Artillery Timer is described and cost considerations and performance objectives are compared with mechanical timers now used by the Army. (Author)
