AN AIRBORNE COMMUNICATION SIMULATION (COMSIMP),

Abstract

A program is presented which was written for the simulation of communication capability between two aircraft or between one aircraft and a ground station. The program considers aircraft geometry, antenna radiation patterns, and transmitter power. This program was written for the IBM 7090 Digital Computer using the FORTRAN symbolic language. The simulation contains three basic parts, each part containing its own group of subroutines. A block diagram of the program is given. (Author)
