DETERMINATION OF LAP SHEAR PROPERTIES OF ADHESIVE NO. 18 FROM G. C. BORTHIG CO.,

Abstract

Adhesive number 18 (G. C. Borthig Co.) as indicated by the test results exhibits a higher lap shear strength at emperatures of 250, 300 and 350F. than at room temperature. Test results also indicate that the maximum lap shear strength was attained at an elevated temperature of 300F with higher temperatures resulting in a lower lap shear strength. (Author)
