DETERMINATION OF THE ENERGY ABSORPTION CHARACTERISTICS OF VARIOUS LOW DENSITY FOAM TYPE PLASTICS,

Abstract

Efforts were made to determine the energy absorption characteristics of various low-density plastic foam and aluminum honeycomb materials. Based on the results of this test program, aluminum honeycomb appears to present the best absorption characteristics of the low density type materials tested. (Author)
