A METHOD OF EVALUATING THE HYDRAULIC VIBRATION REDUCER BY AN ELECTRICAL ANALOG,

Abstract

This report presents a method for evaluating the parameters of a hydraulic vibration reducer by an electrical mobility analog. A simplified hull representation, utilizing a complex impedance, is introduced for the analog. Curves are presented to demonstrate the effect of the vibration-reducer parameters on the change of hull response. The conversion of the hydraulic properties of the vibration reducer into an equivalent mechanical system is detailed in an appendix. (Author)
