DEVELOPMENT OF AN ELECTRON BEAM DUPLEXER.
Abstract
Design calculations were refined and are presented in this report. The first S-band tube was tested for its high power performance, and design changes were made to improve this characteristic. A new coaxial coupler was developed, which gives substantial improvement in the match to the helix. Tube No. 2, incorporating the changes dictated by the tests performed on the first tube, has been built and now awaits processing and testing. (Author)
