LONGITUDINAL DIELECTRIC CONSTANT OF A FULLY IONIZED PLASMA,

Abstract

Starting from the kinetic equations of Guernsey, and using a high frequency or short wave length approximation, one finds out the dielectric constant of a plasma. This dielectric constant contains the effects of the correlations, up to the first order in the expansion plasma parameter. Equilibrium quantities are obtained from the dielectric content. (Author)
