RESEARCH OF NONLINEAR BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEMS USING THE METHOD OF LIE SERIES DEVISED BY GROBNER.

Abstract

The Lie series calculus has led to the discovery of a spectrum of iteration rules for the numerical treatment of differential equations. For the numerical treatment of boundary value problems, formulas for initial value problems are utilized, and with the aid of the Newtonian iteration method, the missing initial values from the prescribed boundary and intermediate conditions are determined.
