PEM FOR PRODUCTION OF FLUORINATED BARIUM TITANATE CAPACITORS FOR OPERATION TO 200 DEGREES C.

Abstract

Capacitors utilizing the high temperature soldered construction and zirconium silicate filled silicone resin encapsulant gave satisfactory life test results. Capacitors of CK63 style can now meet the terminal lead strength requirements of five pounds and the 50 volt thin dielectric units can successfully meet the three pound requirement. Manufacture of all pre-production items was completed. These units are now being tested in accordance with pre-production inspection outlined in SCS-37. (Author)
