MHD WIND TUNNEL PROGRAM.

Abstract

A pulsed-type experimental facility is being assembled to study the feasibility of a hypervelocity wind tunnel employing an MHD accelerator. This report presents a description of the hot shot that will be used as a source for the MHD accelerator. In addition, the present status of the experimental work concerned with the accelerator is given. (Author)
