Instrumentation for Aerial Photographic Experiments. Phase I Report,

Abstract

Part one o this report discusses the design, development, operation, and calibration of the photographic targets and associated photometric equipment. To a degree, Part one has been written to serve the purpose of an equipment instruction manual. Operational instructions are summarized. art two discusses the mechanical and optical design of an airborne spectrophotometer having characteristics applicable to the special circumstances of the contemplated Air Force high altitude photographic program and matched to the ground instrumentation. Although the airborne spectrophotometer was not constructed, various recognizable installation and alignment problems were dealt with during the design phase and are reported. (Author)
