ANALYSIS OF LUG AND SWAY-BRACE REITIONS FOR THE XM75 AIRCRAFT POD,

Abstract

The maximum theoretical loads at the attachment points of the XM75 aircraft pod were determined. The load analysis was conducted to obtain data for various flight maneuvers and launcher loads. Additional guidance beyond that provided in the referenced documents was established. The magnitude of the individual loads, the derivations of the pod reaction equations, and the sway-brace reactions are included. Mathematical procedure is given and results are discussed. (Author)
