SYNTHESIS OF POLYMERIC POLYDIOXYARYLENEPHOSPHONITRYLATES,

Abstract

Polydioxyarylenephosphonitrylates can be synthesized in various ways: by condensation of phosphonitrylchlorides with diatomic phenols or with their phenolates, or by exchange of esters between alkoxyphosphonitrylates or alkoxyphosphonitrylchlorides and diatomic phenols. The conditions under which these processes occur and the effect of various factors on the formation and structure of the polymers obtained are discussed. The structure and properties of these polymers and methods of modifying them were investigated. Their thermal stability and fire resistant properties are discussed. (Author)
