Abstract

The application of adaptive control systems to communications systems, automatic reconnaissance techniques, detection of weak signals in noise, and reliability enhancement are the areas of interest emphasized in this annotated bibliography. The references included in the body of this work are concerned with time varying systems, self-optimizing control systems, predictive adaptive controls, optimalizing control systems, self-learning systems, adaptive principles, automatic optimizers, adaptive servomechanisms and extremum control. The abstracted journal articles and reports cover the period 1960-July 1963. (Author)
