MILLIMETER WAVE DIODE FABRICATION,

Abstract

Receivers and measuring instruments operating in the millimeter wave length portion of the spectrum require wave guide components utilizing point contact diodes. Some of these components in the very short wave length range (less than 4 mm) are not commercially available and must be fabricated in the laboratory. This report describes the technique for fabricating diodes used in millimeter wave detectors, mixers and multipliers. (Author)
