POINT-MASS TRAJECTORY DATA FOR MANEUVERABLE BALLISTIC MISSILE RE-ENTRY VEHICLES,

Abstract

A digital program was used to compute the pointmass trajectories of maneuverable ballistic missile re-entry vehicles. Lift-drag ratios from -2 to +2, ballistic coefficients from 100 to 3000 lb/sq. ft., re-entry velocities from 5000 to 25,000 ft/sec, re-entry angles from -15 degrees to -55 degrees, and bank angles from zero to 180 degrees were examined. The results are summarized in a series of curves. (Author)
