CAVITATION PERFORMANCE OF PROPELLERS IN A SUBMARINE WAKE,

Abstract

This reort presents the results of the evaluation of three model propellers tested in the 24-in. Water Tunnel with a simulated wake of a representative submarine in order to determine the cavitation characteristics. Curves are also presented for the inception of cavitation along the radius as a function of the operating conditions. (Author)
