A PRODUCTION ENGINEERING MEASURE FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES TO INCREASE THE RELIABILITY FOR DIFFUSED SICON CONTROLLED SWITCHES TYPES 2N689.

Abstract

Progress in the following areas is discussed: fabrication of the four-transducer ultrasonic torsional welder; completion of the ultrasonic tubulation-seal process; fabrication of alldiffused devices without gold doping; continuation of experiments on the influence of dislocations in silicon crystals upon the electrical characteristics of the all-diffused 2N689 type device; and step stressing of the present alloydiffused device.
